This was another fun wall for me, in terms of preplanning and pushing my work beyond the comfort zone that I've stayed in for the past few years. The theme for the festival was a magical forest and we had a pretty limited color palette that had to include fluorescent spray cans. As someone who has used majority latex acrylic paint and brush for years, doing something like this was pretty daunting yet gave me a way to explore Slavic mythology (I wanted to base this off of a Lešij, which is somewhat like a guardian spirit of the forest). Bjoern and I also had to deal with a lot of rain and some scaffolding issues, though in the end, we were both super happy with how the piece turned out.
